Paul Signac (1863-1935) painted - inspired by Monet - with bright, luminous colors a new art epoch, Neo-Impressionism. For Signac, Impressionism was synonymous with open-air painting, innovation and independence. He intensively studied color theory and the effect of pure, unconnected color pigments placed next to each other. His passion was the reproduction of water, its reflections and sky. Signac lived alternately in St. Tropez and Paris, interrupted by long sea voyages. He painted landscapes, seascapes and harbor views in bright and luminous colors. For Signac, living meant painting and painting, living. He never stopped producing art....

The mood of the suite "Paul Signac" is thus characterized by ships, harbors and sea in colors of sunny yellow and blue with large light-flooded dormer, which shimmeringly lets the morning sun fall at eye level through the treetops of the park. Quaint roof beams create cozy alcoves in the living/dining room. Historic double-paned windows and unique colored glass vanities in the shower room, which look like moving sea captured in glass, adorn this suite. A maritime place to feel at home!
