“An image must resonate and be imbued with an inner glow.” Wassily Kandinsky
Colors and shapes determine the abstract works of art by the Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky (1866–1944). This was revolutionary for the avant-garde in Europe. Kandinsky saw art as something that did not arise from the surrounding nature but from the artist's inner feelings and that should generate “vibrations of the soul” when viewed. He sought to convey a profound spirituality and the depth of human emotions through a universal imagery of abstract shapes and colors that transcended cultural and physical boundaries.
The “Kandinsky” suite features cheerful, bright colors and modern furnishings. Inspiring works and an impressive, wall-filling landscape image enrich the room with the expressive spirit of the artist. Large windows facing south and west allow lots of light and air in and a view out into the vastness of the colorful rhododendron garden. The bathroom also offers a special artistic delight in the form of exquisitely designed glass objects.
This makes the holiday a feast for all the senses: a refreshing, vibrant composition of
Colors, shapes, art and sea!
“Every work of art is technically created in the same way that the cosmos came into being - through catastrophes the chaotic roar of the instruments at the end form a symphony, the music of the spheres is called. Creation of work is creation of the world.” Wassily Kandinsky
