The beach has a magical pull on its visitors. The beach access points lead you straight to the sea, crossing the roughly 25-meter-wide protective dune and the newly built dune promenade.

Boltenhagen Dog Beach

In Boltenhagen, beach sections 1 and 21/22 are designated dog beaches. From beach access point 02 toward Redewisch, the beach is left in its natural state and is also open to guests with dogs – from there, it’s not far to the Cliffs. The map above shows all access points; Haus Hubertus is located at access points 11 and 12.

Dogs on the Beach in Boltenhagen: Here's What You Need to Know

According to the beach and swimming regulations of the Baltic Sea resort of Boltenhagen, from May 15 through September 30, dogs are only allowed on the designated dog beaches:

  • Klützer Bach Dog Beach up to beach access point 1
  • Redewisch Cliffs – natural dog beach
  • Tarnewitz Dog Beach
