Haus Hubertus is located about 100 steps from the beach , nestled in a 4,000 m² park by the coastal protection forest. The center of Boltenhagen is 600 m away along the promenade, and the walk to the Cliffs runs along the water. Dogs are welcome (€15 per night), and each suite has its own parking space.     The Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec Suite—it was love at first sight. After arriving from a business trip that was as rewarding as it was exhausting, the suite immediately captivated us. It’s extremely spacious, charmingly furnished with great attention to detail, and yet perfectly functional. Waking up in the small bedroom in the morning doesn’t really feel like waking up—it feels like a dream. 😉 The location is wonderful, right behind the beach. A café with the best cake is within walking distance. The garden enchanted us with its cozy seating areas that invite you to linger. The same goes for the couches and the reading chair in the "salon"—because the living room absolutely deserves that name. The grand piano is a joy to play. From the dining table, the view out into the park-like garden is very "elegant" 😉. And overall, I found myself tempted several times to let my mind wander back to the house’s possible past and spin stories about what kinds of people might have gathered here over cocktails, cigars, and piano music. Thank you for the warm hospitality from our host. We’d love to come back.

    We had a wonderful time in our apartment at the Hubertushaus. The house is practically right on the beach – you can be there in a minute – and has several living units. It’s nestled in a green oasis, a beautiful garden filled with gorgeous flowers. In the morning, you’re woken up by the birds. Check-in and communication went smoothly. The kitchen is fully equipped, even for large groups or extended stays. Everything is very clean and tidy. The room under the roof can be darkened, while downstairs by the “parents’ bed” it’s brighter in the morning. The double bed is 1.40 meters wide, which was plenty of space for me and my young daughter. It’s a wonderful walk along the beach to the town center, where you can enjoy the cultural and culinary offerings. It’s worth checking Boltenhagen’s calendar of events while you’re there. The cliff hike with René Beutekamp comes highly recommended. All in all, a very pleasant stay at the Hubertushaus.

    It was a truly wonderful stay in a place you don't often find on Airbnb. Thomas is a great host; he provided crystal-clear instructions on how to find the place and how to get in, so check-in was very easy. You couldn’t ask for a better location: right in the middle of a park and just steps from the beach. It’s an incredibly quiet place, where you usually hear only the sound of the waves and birds. The garden is also nice—there’s a grill, a table, lounge chairs, and a small playground. The apartment is super cozy and comfortable; the kitchen is better equipped than many people’s own kitchens. The stairs to the attic are a bit steep, but they were fine for us. Benny, Thorsten’s (the caretaker’s) dog, was very nice to our dog, so they became friends. So we spent a wonderful week at Haus Hubertus and didn’t want to leave. The only minor things to note: the bed in our room was a bit narrow, and the Wi-Fi signal was weak, but it didn’t spoil our stay, and we’re happy to recommend this place. Thanks, Thomas!
